How Huge Little Minds can help your child and family thrive.

Personalised support to help your family understand what’s going on with your child, why it’s happening and most importantly - how to make it better!
When your child is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, behaviour, or confidence, it affects the whole family. It’s emotionally draining on everyone. It often feels like you’ve tried everything — but nothing has made a real or lasting difference.
Most families I work with desperately want to help, but just don’t know how.
That’s where I come in.
I offer personalised support for both parents and young people — 1:1 or in person — depending on what feels right for your family. Nothing is generic. Nothing is one-size-fits-all.
Every child is different, every parent is doing their best, and every family needs a different approach. Together, we get to the root of what’s going on, work through the challenges step by step, and help you get out the other side with simple strategies that actually work.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Let’s figure it out together.
Whether I’m supporting you as a parent, or working directly with your child or teen, we focus on:
Understanding big emotions, anxiety, anger or overwhelm
Managing challenging behaviour in calmer, more effective ways
Building confidence, resilience and emotional awareness
Reducing worry and supporting anxious thoughts
Improving motivation, mindset and coping skills
Navigating school pressures and exam stress
Strengthening communication, connection and relationships at home
My aim is always the same: to help families create real, lasting change so life feels calmer, happier, and more connected for everyone.

What does it involve?
Every family I work with receives personalised, practical support that fits their child, their challenges, and their real life.
Here’s what our work together usually looks like:
1. Goal Setting & Initial Planning
We begin by identifying the key goals you have for your child, along with the specific challenges you’re currently facing.
This helps us create a plan that is completely tailored to your child’s needs, your family dynamic, and the outcomes you’re hoping for.
2. Weekly One-to-One Session
(Online or In Person)
Each week, we meet for a one-hour session. These sessions may be with you, your child/teen, or a mix of both — depending on what works best.
During these sessions, I’ll guide you through:
- Simple, realistic strategies tailored to your child
- Practical tools you can start using right away
- Support to help you understand your child’s emotions and
behaviour, including how their brain processes stress,
overwhelm, frustration and worry
Each session builds on the last, helping you make steady, meaningful progress.
3. Resources for Your Child
For much of the support I offer - I provide child-friendly resources, videos and activities to help you implement the strategies as a family.
Everything is designed to be simple, engaging and appropriate to your child’s age and needs.
4. Brain-Based Education
A big part of the work I do involves teaching both parents and children about the brain — and why we sometimes feel, think and react the way we do.
I firmly believe that understanding the brain:
- helps parents get to the root cause of emotions and
behaviour
- shows children that their feelings make sense
- empowers young people by helping them realise their
brains can be influenced, shaped and calmed with the right
tools
- removes shame and replaces it with confidence
This knowledge becomes a lifelong skill — not just something that helps right now.
5. Support That Evolves With You
As life changes (and it always does), we adapt the plan so it continues to meet your child’s needs.
Your support grows alongside your child, helping you navigate not just this moment — but the years ahead as they move into adolescence and young adulthood.
My goal is to provide support that lasts far beyond our sessions, giving your family clarity, confidence and connection long-term.
Choosing someone to support your child or family is a big decision — and you deserve to know you’re in safe, experienced hands.
Here’s what I bring to the families I work with:
🧠Professional Experience You Can Trust
I have extensive experience supporting children and young people with their emotional wellbeing, mental health, and development.
I’m qualified in both therapy and life coaching, which means I draw on a wide range of strategies and techniques — always choosing what fits your child best.
14 Years Working With Teens in Schools
I’ve worked in secondary education for over 14 years, so I understand the real, everyday challenges young people face — anxiety, pressure, friendships, motivation, exams, and everything in between.
Building relationships with children and teens is my strength, and helping them feel understood is at the heart of everything I do.
Personal Experience as a Parent
I’m a mum myself, and I’ve been through the worry, the tears, and the “I don’t know what else to try.”
I get how heavy it can feel when your child is struggling — and I will never underestimate just how much you’re carrying.
Kindess
Families describe me as kind, calm, easy to talk to, and completely non-judgemental.
I’m here to work with you — not telling you what you “should” be doing — but jumping right into the trenches with you, and helping you out!
A Personalised Approach That Works
Every child is different. Every family is different.
I take the time to understand your unique situation so I can offer simple, realistic strategies that actually make a difference in your everyday life.
Families who work through this program report real, lasting change:
- Their child is better able to manage anxiety, worry, anger
and other strong emotions.
- Their child becomes more confident, resilient, and better
able to cope with everyday challenges.
- They feel more equipped to support their child in difficult
moments, with practical tools that actually work.
- They have a clearer understanding of how their child’s
brain responds to stress and how to respond in ways that
help, not escalate, the situation.
Together, we build lasting foundations for emotional wellbeing — for both you and your child.
Getting support shouldn’t feel overwhelming — so I keep the process simple, calm, and pressure-free.

I’ll get back to you personally to arrange a time that works for you.
This call is relaxed and pressure-free — a chance to share what’s been going on and have a good vent - or cry!
3️⃣ We Explore What Support Fits Best
During the call, you can tell me all about your child, what you’ve tried, and how things feel at home.
Together, we’ll figure out what kind of support makes the most sense — for you, your child, and your family.
I’ll outline a personalised plan based on your child’s needs and your goals and give you time to think this over as a family.
4️⃣ Start Your First Session
If it feels right, we’ll book your first session and begin working through things step by step — with clarity, compassion, and simple strategies you can use straight away.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Reach out when you’re ready — I’d love to support your family.
